A strange scene occurred in Strasbourg's home match against Marseille last Friday. Dissatisfied with the club's multi-club ownership model, four fan organizations in Strasbourg announced a "cheering strike" and remained silent throughout the game. However, the stands on the other side of the court were extremely noisy and banners were posted to support the club's management.

RMC said this abnormal cheering atmosphere may be planned behind the scenes by the club. According to the media, members of a local theater troupe appeared in the stands wearing home team jerseys and holding loudspeakers to lead fans to cheer. They allegedly received a "process list" and were asked to launch a cheering slogan every 15 minutes.
