According to the Milan Sports newspaper, Sassuolo plans to renew his contract with 30-year-old Berardi, allowing him to stay in the team for life.

Sassuolo core Berardi is undoubtedly one of the few "flags" in modern football that still sticks to the club. The Italian international, born in 1994, has had transfer rumors with many giants in the past, but he has never left Sassuolo.

Beraldi found his ideal position in Sassuolo, and he emphasized many times that he was "just like at home". As he himself said: "To me, Sassuolo is home, and I am very comfortable here. It makes me proud to be the flag of this club, because there is almost no flag in football now."

As reported by Sport Milan, Sassuolo is currently planning to renew his contract with Berardi. Berardi, who is about to turn 31, currently has a contract with Sassuolo until 2027, but it is reported that the club's general manager Carnevalli has begun to promote further contract renewal, with the goal of extending the No. 10 player's contract again, binding him to Sassuolo for "lifetime" and continuing to be a symbolic player of the Black Celtics.

In his career, Berardi has only played for Sassuolo, with a total of 399 appearances and 148 goals and 108 assists.
