Marca: Real Madrid prepares to play against Liverpool, Alonso follows Mourinho and does not train at the game venue

Recently, "Marca" talked about Alonso's training mode at Real Madrid. He continued Mourinho's practice of not training at the competition venue during his coaching period.
Since taking over Ancelotti's coaching job this summer, Alonso has been gradually shaping Real Madrid's new look. From tighter daily rules to the use of drones for aerial surveillance to refine training details, the coach has introduced a number of changes, the latest of which was for the game against Liverpool.
Previously, Real Madrid has been one of the few major clubs to conduct pre-match training at the competition venue. However, that routine will change next Monday. Alonso decided to have the players train at 11am at the Valdebebas base before traveling to Liverpool in the afternoon and only attend the pre-match press conference at Anfield. This is due to UEFA regulations, so only the head coach and one player chosen by the club will be present at the match.
This decision brings Real Madrid back to the practice during Mourinho's coaching period. The Portuguese coach was the only one who chose not to conduct pre-match training at the competition venue, but completed the training at the Valdebebas base. Now, Alonso continues that tradition in the fourth round of the Champions League. Prior to this, Real Madrid had played against Marseille and Juventus at home and against Almaty away from home. Due to the complicated travel, they were unable to train at the competition venue.
Real Madrid will train at the Valdebebas base at 11 am. After rest and lunch, the team will set off for Liverpool at 4 pm and is expected to arrive in the afternoon local time. Afterwards, the team, coaching staff and other entourage will check into the MeliĆ” Hotel in Liverpool, while Alonso and a player will travel to Anfield for an official press conference accompanied by the club's communications department.
