This summer, Monaco signed free agent Pogba, but the World Cup champions have not yet made their debut for their new club, and another new player, Fati, has shown good form. Prior to the match against Lorient, Monaco coach Adid Houtel confirmed that Pogba is about to make his debut.

Hutel said: "We can't compare Pogba's situation with Fati. The latter is much younger than the former, and Fati has been training for a long time. Now, Pogba is increasingly involved in training."

"We are following our plans, and we set a three-month schedule for ourselves. He is approaching the roster and he is in good shape both physically and mentally."
