According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal will renew his contract with 18-year-old Skelly this summer. Skelly made his debut for Arsenal's first team last September, but by the end of the season, he had become an important member of Arteta's rank.

In October 2023, Skelly and Arsenal signed their first professional contract, and now the contract has only one year left to expire. Due to his outstanding performance in the club and national team, Skelly has allegedly attracted interest from Real Madrid.
