According to the German Sports News Agency (SID), Schalke's home court, Feltings Arena, was named the "vegetarian friendliest" stadium in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga by PETA. The report stated that the results were based on an assessment by the animal rights organization PETA. Feltings Arena beat last year's champion RB Leipzig's home court and derby rival Dortmund's home court. The bottom is the Holstein Stadium in Kiel.

To develop this list, PETA asked 29 participating clubs about the supply of vegetarian food, and the current evaluation was based on the responses of each club. It is reported that for "high-quality vegan foods", such as falafel or pasta, you can get 3 points; while for snacks like fries or pretzels, you can get 1 point each; potato chips, ice cream, popcorn and chocolate bars are not counted. PETA's street team leader Stefan Lenthart said: "In elite sports, a healthy vegan diet is becoming increasingly important - this applies to professional football. One reason is that it promotes faster recovery after high-intensity load exercise."
