FIFA Vice Chairman: UEFA has postponed Israeli ban vote after Trump intervenes
As a group of independent experts from the United Nations specifically called on FIFA and UEFA to suspend membership of the Israeli Football Association last week, multiple media reported that the UEFA Executive Committee was preparing to hold an emergency meeting this week to vote on the suspension of Israel.
The European football administration has never officially confirmed or denied these reports, but Montaliani, as chairman of the Central and North American and Caribbean Football Federation (CONCACAF), has now clarified that UEFA has decided to suspend the action.
