Conte: Congratulations to Turin on the victory, everything tonight was our own fault

After Naples lost 0-1 to Turin in an away game, head coach Conte accepted a post-match interview with DAZN. He analyzed the reasons for the defeat of the game and talked about the team's defense and lineup integration.
How do you evaluate this game?
We played well in the first half and created some opportunities, but that was all. In the second half, we put more energy into it. Having said that, that goal was our own fault. Congratulations to Torino for the victory, but we messed up everything tonight.
Is Naples' lineup over-hyped?
I don’t want to go back to those commonplace topics. As a person who understands football and has experience, I said some things that are very simple and normal for anyone who understands football and what it means to build a team. We have to think about working hard and our season depends on the growth of our new players. We now have to play a game every three days, there is not much time, we must make progress every time and have the patience to see these improvements.
What are your priorities on the defensive end?
The goal conceded today was caused by ourselves and was not a defensive mistake. Defense always requires teamwork. Unfortunately, there was a rebound ball and Gilmore, who had played a great game, accidentally touched the ball. The football we play puts us always in the opponent's half and it's normal to give the opponent some chances to counterattack, but we have to get used to it. I don’t remember any defensive issues, it’s normal to accept confrontations and we have to continue to do well in this area and make more progress.
