According to the announcement from the Guinea Football Association, Gilasi has returned to Dortmund. The announcement also revealed that the Dortmund striker arrived injured before the first game against Mozambique. In the team's 2-1 win, he sat on the bench and did not play.

Gilasi reported to the national team out of "love for Guinea" and "respect for the coaching staff." Now the Guinea Football Association has confirmed that he will also miss the second national team game against Botswana.
