👀Teag: Embiid is expected to retire in 3 years and he may not be able to enter the Hall of Fame
Recently, former NBA player Jeff Teague talked about Embiid on his podcast show "Club 520".
Tiger believes the seven-time All-Star's career is coming to an end. "It's okay, brother, take your own money. It's time for him to fight for another three years." Teague said. The members of the program team agreed unanimously.
"Yes, he's the MVP. This guy missed too many games, how many years did he missed? Three full years. He probably can't get into the Hall of Fame, brother." Teague said.
The 2023 MVP has suffered from injuries during his basketball career. His NBA debut was postponed for two seasons due to a stress fracture in his right foot. Since then, he has experienced several injuries including left knee problems (including meniscus tears and surgery), left orbital fractures, right orbit fractures, left shoulder sprains, and left hand ligament tears. Embiid has missed nearly 400 games since entering the league in 2016.
Not long ago, it was reported that Embiid's knee condition was much worse than originally expected and he was unable to return to the 76ers' training camp in time. Some league insiders even said that the 76ers regretted signing a contract extension with him in 2024.
