Today the Warriors officially announced that the team has implemented the team option for the fourth year (26-27 season) of guard Podemski's rookie contract.

The 22-year-old Bodemski has played in 5 games this season, including 3 starts, averaging 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.6 minutes per game.

As a player selected by the Warriors with the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 2023 draft, Podemski was selected to the 2023-24 NBA All-Rookie Team, becoming the 19th player in team history to win this honor.

He has played 143 regular season games for the Warriors in his career (64 starts). His career averages are 26.8 minutes, 10.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
