Recently, American reporter Tom Haberstroh participated in the podcast "The Kevin O 'Connor Show", during which he talked about Gobert's previous performance.

"So far this season, when Gobert is on the court, the Timberwolves' defensive efficiency (average points allowed to opponents per 100 possessions) is 109.7, which is equivalent to third in the league; when he is not on the court, the defensive efficiency plummets to 134.8. This gap is particularly obvious when defending at the basket: When Gobert is on the court, only 20% of opponents' shots are completed at the basket; when he is not on the court, this proportion rises to 32%." Tom Haberstroh said.

"In addition, when Gobert is on the court, the Timberwolves only allow their opponents to score 42 points in the paint per 100 possessions; when he is not on the court, this number soars to 61 points. This shows that without Gobert, the basket has almost become a red carpet for the opponent. Although Randle performed well on the offensive end, he is not an excellent protector of the basket." Tom Haberstroh said.

As of press time, Gobert is averaging 32 minutes per game this season, contributing 9.9 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks; Randall is averaging 26.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 0.4 blocks per game.
