Recently, Ariza participated in former Lakers coach Byron Scott's podcast "Byron Scott 's Fast Break", during which he talked about his position in the league.

"Many players are talented before entering the NBA. The NBA is in short supply of such players. On the first day I entered the league, I said to myself that whenever the team needs me, I will be ready and plug-and-play. I am always ready. My desire for team victory is always greater than personal success," Ariza said.
