According to The Athletic reporter Fred Katz, several sources in the league revealed that Bill gave up $13.8 million in a buyout with the Suns.

Bill has two years left for the original contract. After giving up $13.8 million, the Sun can only use the extended clause to cut it (paid in 5 years).

After passing the clarification period (48 hours), Bill will join the Clippers and sign a two-year, $11 million contract.
