Tielin: After winning the championship in 2020, it is more about liberation than celebrating it. Finally, I can leave the park and go home.
Recently, former Lakers player Danny Green participated in the "Legends Of Sport" program and talked about his experience of winning the championship in the bubble park with the Lakers in 2020.
He said: "We enjoyed that time, but we also felt it was fleeting because next season would follow six weeks later. We probably won the championship in mid-October and then in early December, I felt like, 'Okay, we have to go back to work, because we have to get everything on track before Christmas. It was more relief than celebrations (when we won the championship), 'It's finally over, we can get out of here.' I can't imagine what it would be like if I had to stay there for so long after losing. I would be very upset. The championship brought more relief than a celebration like 'Oh, we've achieved an achievement'. The feeling was, 'Damn, we can finally go home.'"
