According to Suns reporter Duane Rankin, the Suns have begun to discuss the possibility of buying out Bill.

ClutchPoints reporter Brett Siegel wrote: "If Bill follows Lillard's approach to completing the contract buyout, he will become a free agent for each team, and many teams will hope to sign him with basic salary contracts. The Heat, Lakers, Clippers, Warriors and Bucks are all interested in introducing Bill with small contracts."
