Trail Blazers reporter Erik C. Anderson talked about Yang Hansen's situation on the podcast "The Rip City Podcast" today.

"Yang Hansen is not a lottery pick. He is a mid-first-round pick who comes with a lot of expectations. Obviously some expectations may be too high. For example, many people have said that he is the 'Chinese Jokic' before, but now as media members, fans and bystanders, we should realize that we have to be patient and wait for his growth. Obviously he still needs a lot of time to grow." Erik C. Anderson said.

In the first game of the NBA Cup, Yang Hansen was DNP and failed to play against Jokic on the court.
