Recently, O'Neal was asked on the podcast show Tommy Talks what would happen if he had a match against Nuggets star Jokic in the playoffs.

O'Neal made it clear that he would win, and he said, "In the playoffs, I could have 40 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks against him, you know he's a different player. I might not be able to defend him because they'll definitely play pick-and-roll. I had to leave him and go to defend the small one and they'll pass him, so he might make a lot of jump shots."

"However, if he was going to defend me one-on-one, I felt like he wouldn't be on the court for too long because in the first 10 rounds, I would keep attacking him. He either fouls or he needed teammates to get in the bag. Clip me. If he fouled me two or three times, he would definitely go to rest. So he might score 27 to 30 points because he is a great shooter. If he is a player who focuses on the inside, then I just need to focus on him and he wouldn't get that many points."

"Because I saw him having trouble with Dwight Howard (2020 campus) that year. Since the Nuggets often play pick-and-roll, you have to go to defend the defender, and they'll pass the ball back to him and let him shoot. But if he defends me? I can easily average 40 points." O'Neal said.

O'Neal led the Los Angeles Lakers to achieve three consecutive championships from 2000 to 2002. In these three NBA Finals, he averaged 35.9 points per game and shot as high as 59.5%. In the 2001 NBA Finals, O'Neal played against Mutombo, the best defensive player of 2001, averaging 33.0 points per game and shooting as high as 57.3%.
