This morning, Mavericks No. 1 pick Flagg accepted an interview with reporters after training.

Flagg said (considering everything that has happened to the Mavericks over the past year) that he does not feel like the Mavericks' savior. He mentioned that the opportunities he's been given and the circumstances of this year have taken the pressure off him. He also expressed that he is looking forward to working with players such as Irving, Big Eyebrow and Klay.

"We are a deep team, which takes a lot of pressure off me. I just have to be myself and not worry about what the outside world expects of me, but focus on helping the team win more games." Flagg continued.
