The 2025 NBA Draft Conference was held today at the Barclays Center in New York. In the third pick in the first round, the Philadelphia 76ers chose the genius VJ Edgecom from the Bahamas.

Regarding being selected by the 76ers, Edgecombe said: "I don't know what language to express, it feels like a dream. I train hard, and all this has paid off, but I won't slack off. I am very much looking forward to going to Philadelphia, meeting the team, preparing for Summer League, training camp, etc. I am now focusing on the game."

Regarding the 76ers, Edgecombe commented: "It has been a while since the team last won the cup. If it can become a key puzzle to help the team break through the bottleneck, it will be a meaningful achievement for me, fans, and management."
